Albury Organic Vineyard07768-863-650
Albury Vineyard produces the highest quality still and sparkling wines from organic grapes grown in the Surrey Hills. Only 20,000 bottles of wine are produced each year from just 12 acres of vines. Famed for its Silent Pool Rosé which was served on the Royal Barge to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee, Albury wines can now be found on the wine lists of top restaurants including Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Tom Kerridge’s Hand and Flowers and Chez Bruce. English sparkling wines are now competing head on with the best Champagnes, and Albury Estate sparklings have won several gold and silver international awards in prestigious wine competitions such as Decanter and the International Wine Challenge.
Albury is family business run by Nick and his daughter Lucy. Their talented Italian vineyard manager Alex is one of the best and together they share a passion for organics, quality produce and excellent wine. In 2016, Albury was voted ‘Producer of the Year’ in the Surrey Life Food and Drink Awards, although the vineyard remains a hidden gem nestled alongside the Silent Pool. The vineyard is open to visitors on Saturdays. You can find out more about the vineyard here.
