Syon Park is delighted to offer the magnificient Great Hall in Syon House for civil ceremonies (maximum 120 seated guests), or alternatively the beautiful State Dining Room (maximum 50 seated guests). Both rooms are are available for hire on Fridays and Saturdays from April to October each year.

Post-ceremony drinks can be served in charming inner courtyard, a parterre garden with fountain and perfumed white flowers. Alternatively in unkind weather, it is possible to use the State Apartments. On occasion, selected Mondays and Tuesdays may also be available for civil ceremonies, but not Bank Holiday Mondays.

In formal procession, guests then follow the bride and groom via the wooded, secluded Queen’s Walk to the magnificent Great Conservatory. Most spring and summer wedding receptions take place in the Great Conservatory, running from 18.00 hours to midnight (with guests leaving by 01.00 hours). Candles and amplified music are all welcomed in this stunning venue in the gardens. The Great Conservatory can accommodate 150 guests for a seated meal, or up 200 for a standing buffet reception during the evening. The Great Conservatory is not available for daytime hire, or winter wedding receptions.

For larger summer receptions, Syon Park has partnered with one of London’s leading event management companies, The Concerto Group, to install a stunning, fully produced marquee in the gardens from May to September each year. Please see below under "Marquees in the Grounds" for further information.

Marquees in the Grounds

From May to September each year, Syon Park has partnered with the excellent Concerto Group to install a stunning marquee, which can be hired on a venue only basis or as a complete party package. This fantastic purpose-built venue is designed with flexibility in mind, making it suitable for any event brief from a corporate dinner to a wedding breakfast, or a BBQ to a family fun day.  With a seated capacity of 600 and standing capacity of 800 this venue is a cost effective space for larger events and benefits from its own private walled garden with stunning views of Syon House. A particularly popular option for evening events is to have a drinks reception in Syon House before moving to the Garden Room Marquee for dinner & dancing. Alternatively some of our clients opt to have a civil ceremony for up to 120 guests in Syon House before adjourning to the Marquee for large and further celebration.

Winter Weddings.

The State Dining Room is now being offered for candlelit morning civil ceremonies during the winter months, followed by drinks on the Private Apartments with up to 50 guests. It is particularly suited to the more intimate and stately wedding.  

From November to March, Marquees can also be sited opposite Syon House in the Lime Avenue, its adjacent fields and the enclosed Rose Garden for balls, parties, conferences, fashion shows and other events including weddings for up to 2000 people. . All facility hire charges for the grounds are calculated on an individual basis.
