This room is still used as the private family drawing room. The superb scagliola fireplace, designed by Robert Adam for Northumberland House was installed in 1924. Much of the furniture is 18th century and the portraits depict royalty and members of the Percy family dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries. Over the fireplace is a fine portrait of King Edward VI as an infant by a follower of Holbein and Andrew Drummond by Sir Joshua Reynolds hangs above the Edwardian grand piano.
