APRIL 2010 - Sunday 11th AprilSyon Park's Wedding Diary opens for the 2011 Season - Syon Park is delighted to inform any interested parties, that it will be officially opening its diary for 2011 on Sunday 11th April 2010. Bookings will taken from personal visitors only from 11.00 to 15.00 hrs. Reservations by telephone, email or letter will be accepted from Monday 12th April 2010. JUNE - JULY 2010 - Monday 7th June to Sunday 11th JulyArchaeology of Syon Abbey - This summer is the seventh season of Birkbeck training excavations, investigating the Medieval Bridgettine Abbey and the architecturally designed gardens that formed the landscape of Syon House, from the 16th century onwards. Week-long courses in excavation methods, geophysics, recording buildings and environmental archaeology will take place and are open to all aged 17 or over. Beginners are welcome.
